Overview

Oh My Ports queries TCP, UDP, or both, then lists the process, PID, path, and protocol for one or more local ports. From there I can kill a process, open its location, or copy the PID. Batch kill asks first.

It is a personal Windows 10 / 11 tool, not a network scanner.

Why it exists

Local ports get stolen by leftover Node processes and forgotten dotnet watch sessions. I wanted a window that answers “what is on 3000?” without opening Task Manager and guessing.

How it’s built

WPF on .NET 8. MVVM for the window, iphlpapi P/Invoke for the port table, and a small settings file for language. The UI ships in several locales; English is the default.

Limits

Windows only. The public repository is CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.
