Overview

Friday is a control portal for Cursor agents running on my computer. It can observe external Cursor CLI sessions, launch Friday-owned local sessions, and expose a control panel on the desktop. An iOS companion talks to a local HTTP bridge when I want to approve a session from my phone.

What it does

  • Attach to Cursor CLI sessions already running on the machine
  • Start local sessions through a PTY and an NDJSON event stream
  • Show status in a desktop pet and an agent control panel
  • Pair an Expo iOS client with the desktop bridge

Local CLI mode expects the Cursor Agent CLI on the machine. Cloud / SDK-worker support is still a stub. This is a working companion, not a shipped product.

Stack

A monorepo: Tauri and React on the desktop, Expo on iOS, shared TypeScript packages for types and the bridge client, and Rust on the Tauri side.
