Overview
Easy Price Watch Service is a self-hosted monitor for product prices, promotions, stock, and history. Scrapers, SQLite, and the rule engine run as one Node process outside Home Assistant. HA talks to it through a custom integration and scoped API tokens.
What it does
- Import a Coles product URL and fetch the price (search exists, and may be bot-blocked)
- Watchlist rules: target price, any drop, half-price, historical low
- Append-only price history with charts in the web UI
- In-process worker and a staggered scheduler
- HA summary plus per-product entities and services
- Token list, rotate, and recover paths
First release is Coles-shaped. I am not claiming a retailer catalogue it does not have.
Stack
TypeScript on Node.js 22, SQLite (node:sqlite), a web UI on the same port as the API, and a native Home Assistant custom integration.
